"Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?" (Matthew 6:25-27)Matthew 6:25-27 reminds me of who my God is and provides ample reasons why I am to trust Him. My God, the Creator of the birds of the air and the universe at large, is sovereign, caring, loving and so wise. He has promised to provide everything that I need. I can face today’s troubles knowing that His grace will be sufficient for me and today and I can face tomorrow by knowing that His grace will be there for me tomorrow and will provide strength for all that may come my way.
